    As BI Analyst in our In-stock team for Consumables you will be responsible for leading a high performing function in supply chain (forecasting, replenishment, inventory management, customer availability) helping drive innovation growth, facilitating strong partnerships externally with vendors and internally with peers and Amazon’s global technical teams, and supporting Retail and country leadership.

    The best candidate will have a broad skill set including analytical horsepower, deep curiosity about how systems and processes work, excellent business judgment, strong relationship management and a passion for helping create a world class shopping experience for Amazon’s customers. You must be willing to challenge the status quo in order to help improve existing workflows and processes to enhance customer experience. You will work with vendors of all sizes and must have sufficient presence and communication skills to represent Australia across other global departments.

    Your Responsibilities include:
    · Optimize product availability within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of the supply chain
    · Work with vendor managers on expanding selection and optimum sourcing recommendations/decisions
    · Implement system/process improvements in working with vendors on order management, vendor operations, and inventory management.
    · Drive metrics to improve efficiency and assist with in-stock management, including inventory replenishment, managing overstock inventory, and operation processes
    · Be a leader beyond International Expansion by giving user input to engineering teams across Amazon as they work to continuously improve systems and processes necessary for efficiency and growth
    · Manage large scale catalog selection, be solution-oriented & able to integrate strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision making
    · Manage multiple projects – prioritizing, planning and delegating appropriate tasks

    Basic Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree
    · 5+ years of experience in operations, retail, consulting and/or finance, with a history of owning/driving results
    · Proven analytical skill set and highly numerate
    · Advanced SQL skills
    · Ability to analyze large data sets and derive business recommendations
    · Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
    · High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    · Proficiency in Excel

    · In-stock or supply chain experience ideally in an e-commerce, retail, key account management or in a major consultancy firm
    · Operational buying, in-stock and supply chain management experience
    · Working in a start-up or early stage environment where you will be defining best practice for your function
