The Amazon MENA team is looking for a talented Head of Online Marketing & Traffic. This role will lead a team of Marketing Managers that develop marketing plans and activities to drive new customer acquisition, new product launches as well as customer engagement across Amazon websites. This role covers strategies across multiple traffic channels. This person will work closely with the Product Management, Dev and Marketing teams to build, implement and analyze marketing programs that promote Amazon properties.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual with excellent leadership capabilities to lead and develop a large, highly diverse team of marketing and traffic managers. This person must also enjoy being a creative contributor and thrive in working in a start-up environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas: Hire, develop and lead the Marketing Managers and Traffic teams Plan, coordinate and execute innovative marketing initiatives to drive traffic and conversion. Develop targeting strategies that will improve marketing and merchandising performance. You must be comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into implementation as needed (managing campaigns, writing business requirements and analyzing data). · Bachelor's degree is required; quantitative field preferred. · 8+ years of relevant e-commerce or acquisition marketing experience. · Proven track record of architecting high-performing customer conversion funnels on web and apps. · A demonstrated record of partnering with teams across the organization and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals. · Successful track record of working closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver on aggressive schedules. · Strong analytics and business case development skills. · Ability to build Excel-based acquisition models and forecasts. · A solid understanding of customer segmentation and the full customer lifecycle. · Experience with gathering and utilizing customer insights. · Strong oral and written communication skills. · Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to deliver results for our customers.
· Master's degree including an MBA · Experience in marketing high-tech products/services preferred · Experience managing projects with creative/design agencies · Basic knowledge of SQL
