We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager, who will drive Amazon's fee strategy in the Middle East across UAE, KSA and Egypt. He or she will be comfortable marshaling large amounts of data to make decisions and build business cases and providing strategic recommendations. These recommendations will have to balance growth and profitability of the business. In this role, you will partner with multiple sales and technology teams to not only drive thought-leadership in how Amazon should think about its seller commissions and fulfilment fees, but also own all product solutions which operationalize the strategy. The role is a blend of the following dimensions - product development and management, program value assurance, strategy, operational excellence and entrepreneurship.
- 6+ years of product management, analytical or consulting experience, ideally in the e-commerce or technology space - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. - Experience working with cross-functional teams in delivery of large products or services - Experience defining market and product requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities and plan go-to-market. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly and concisely. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, features and drive management of product. - High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision. - Collaborative working style. Must work well in a team environment.
- MBA from a reputed institution - Ability to write queries (SQL, R, Python) in order to not depend on BA support
