    JOB DESCRIPTION

    TITLE: Procurement Manager - FC Launch

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:



    • Act as focal point of contact for all new site launch business groups.
    • Request and track availability of Oracle Financial Applications (OFA) set up.
    • Define new site launch bill of materials (BOM) in cooperation with defined business owners including sourcing strategy, liaising with suppliers to negotiate and secure best value for money deals on a range of non-inventory goods and services.
    • Prioritize requirements, highlight any missing information and risks to business and challenge for clarification in time.
    • Coordinate requirements with category sourcing management as well as to seek local and regional opportunities of entered market.
    • Execute Purchase Orders including full tracking up to delivery on site.
    • Ensure availability of all needed services to new site by implementing standard solutions where applicable or source regional/ local solutions when necessary.
    • Lead set up of all standard procurement procedures for new sites and support hiring and training of new site procurement and stores personnel.
    • Act as mentor for new sites in all areas of procurement for start-up phase of new locations.
    • In case of new market entry, act as a market intelligence turntable regarding categories, anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed
    • Review launches and adopt learnings and changes into future strategy and processes.
    • Lead Procurement Calls with internal Business owners


    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

    • Ensure availability of all goods and services in time

    • Ensure flawless start of procurement procedures in new sites
    • Prioritize requirements, highlight any missing information and risks to business and challenge for clarification in time.
    • Coordinate requirements with category sourcing management as well as to seek local and regional opportunities of entered market.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Masters' degree or MBA with relevant business experience
    • Relevant senior level experience in retail, operations, and/or business management with a proven history of delivering results
    • 5+ years’ experience in negotiations and vendor management is a plus

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Proven experience leading teams & cross-functional projects
    • Influencing abilities and vendor management experience
    • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
    • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
    • Advanced experience with Excel, or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools
    • Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating
    • Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
    • A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done
