    Souq.com is seeking a bright and ambitious manager to lead its UAE-based 3P business. The role is accountable for the growth of the third party marketplace business in the UAE, including new seller recruitment programs, strategic partnerships and platform improvements.

    As Head of Marketplace you will lead teams of Associate Partner Managers recruiting and launching online retailers on souq. Your teams will be responsible for helping retailers expand and grow their businesses by partnering with Amazon. As part of your role you will need to analyse complex data to identify growth opportunities and help your teams succeed and develop.

    Operating in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment you will have full responsibility of your teams’ performance and for achieving business objectives. You will need to take the lead in projects that will drive business growth.


    - Responsible for driving input (selection seller) and output (GMS, ff units) goals by formulating team’s objectives,
    - Responsible for 3P business P&L, operational plans and forecasting.
    - Providing insight and liaising with various stakeholders (legal, PR, CL, sr. leadership) by integrating seller experience into category level objectives.
    - Creates programs to meet seller needs and influences policy changes as and when required in order to drive growth.
    - Leads strategic negotiation with key sellers and brands
    - Fosters a culture of raising the bar on performance. Acts as a mentor to the team and influences other leaders in order to drive cross-functional engagement

    Basic Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience in management consulting, product management or sales management
    • High standard of education or compensating work experience
    • Highly organised and results oriented
    • Strong people management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
    • Ability to interact with and influence senior leadership

    Preferred Qualifications

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • MBA from top tier institute is preferred
    • Experience in e-commerce is advantageous
