Amazon is looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and highly-motivated Account Manager who helps scale our growing Advertising program. This person will work closely with the sales, operations, and other Amazon business partner teams to manage display advertising campaigns on Amazon.co.jp and Amazon Mobile, providing top-notch services and campaign management for new and repeat advertisers. Specific responsibilities include working with sales to create strategic media plans; project-managing all pre-launch work; owning campaign delivery; managing campaign performance through metrics analysis and reporting; and driving upsells and renewals. The Account Manager will have a deep understanding of our display and programmatic advertising products and technical/operational capabilities, and approaches to optimize campaign performance. This hire will also work with the display advertising design, product development, and technology teams to execute for our clients and drive tool and process improvements. · Develop media plan by co-working with Account Executives. · Facilitate a discussion with advertisers to decide key performance index and campaign goal. · Optimize campaigns to maximize the performance. · Analyze post click metrics data, build hypothesis and draft a report for executed campaign. · Manage 3rd party ad serving system to plan and book advertising campaign. · Work closely with operation team for trafficking advertising creative, delivery monitoring, trouble shooting and reporting. · Develop best practices to provide to the Account Executive team. · Work with internal product team to launch new products and develop a process to start selling new products.
Base pay for this position is 1.508 EUR and there are further pay components within the total compensation
- Media planning capabilities - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills - Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets - Strong project management skills - Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft products including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel is required. - English language skills – AM team manages conference calls and email communication with US counterpart in English. (benchmark: TOEIC 800- ) - Technical knowledge on online advertising serving area including Flash, HTML, XML, java script are preferred. - Four years university degree - Minimum 5 years of experience in online marketing, advertising, and/or operation.
