Amazon Web Services (AWS) continues to Pioneer in the Public Sector and is now hiring a Enablement Program Specialist to assist in the planning and execution of enablement programs across Asia, Pacific & Japan.
The Enablement Program Specialist will work closely with APJ Enablement Lead and Country Enablement Program Managers to bring a consistent experience to our teams based in APJ, and ensure our local tech and non-tech programs are successful. This includes but not limited to operational governance, interfacing with our internal customers, preparing reports and managing engagements end to end.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. Ideal candidates will possess several years of experience in operations, training or team coordination position in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills.
§ Develop and maintain an effective governance process focused on providing timely and targeted content for tech/non-tech enablement
§ Schedule and facilitate Enablement classes/Programs across APJ. This includes coordinating events, arranging venues, coordinating instructors and audio/visual, and ordering training materials.
§ Liaise with students to accept their registrations, confirm bookings, manage cancellations/changes and maintain an accurate participant count via internal tracking mechanisms including the AWS Learning Management System.
§ Work closely with the Asia-Pacific Enablement Lead to understand Amazon’s global standards, practices and policies and develop and lead the successful execution of enablement programs for the public sector team in APJ
§ Review and manage the existing content library to determine opportunities to improve the learning experience, ensure the content is current and relevant and best technology is employed.
§ Manage inbound communications including questions and/or concerns.
§ Assist with updating, assembling and distributing training/enablement program participant materials.
§ Support the APJ training measurement process by pulling scores and comments, continuously updating and producing reports, and helping the Enablement Lead organize data for monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting to executives.
§ Assist, as required, with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions related to onsite training and billing.
§ Perform additional projects and other related duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate
