Basic Qualifications

  • Strong Linux/Unix Systems engineering / Administration expereince
  • Fluent in DNS, DHCP, TCP/UDP, IP addressing.
  • Virtualization and/or cloud computing experience.
  • Good understanding of security best practices.
  • Impeccable communication skills to successfully engage with customers.
  • Previous experience in a support role with proven customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshooting skills at many levels of complexity.
  • Ability to work either on Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

(Optional qualifications, but highlight on your resume if you have them)
  • DevOps and automation/configuration tools Puppet/Chef/Ansible/etc.
  • Experience with Bigdata/Hadoop/NoSQL/Hive.
  • Networking knowledge in VPN, load balancing and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with MySQL/PostgresSQL/MSSQL/Oracle.
  • Programming/scripting in Python/Java/Shell/Perl/Ruby/PHP/etc.
  • Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
  • Mandarin or Korean language skills are a bonus.
