We are seeking experienced Hardware Design Engineers to build the next generation of our cloud server infrastructure. Our success depends on our world-class server infrastructure; we’re handling massive scale and rapid integration of emergent technologies. As a member of the Silicon Optimization Team you’ll be responsible for the design and optimization of hardware in our data centers. You’ll provide leadership in the application of new technologies to large scale server deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. - Technical leadership of system validation including both HW and SW components. - Understand end customer applications and stress systems from a customer perspective. - Develop software to test, evaluate and stress the silicon and system - Work in the pre-silicon simulation and emulation environments to ensure successful silicon bring-up. - Develop and execute post-silicon test plans by running SW on silicon.
Requirements: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in system validation - Experience in chip bring-up and silicon debug - Software expertise including C/C++ programming experience - Automation and scripting experience - Understanding of firmware and device drivers
Preferred requirements: - Experience in pre-silicon verification (UVM test benches). - Experience in FPGA or Emulation testing and debug. - Experience in Software test and debug. - Performance analysis and verification. - Familiarity with lab equipment (logic analyzer, software debugger)
