Amazon's new Australia retail team, located in Sydney, is looking for a bright, customer obsessed, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. This person will join the Amazon Fashion category and partner with key brands to maximize their potential on Amazon and make a major impact on our customer's experience.

You’ll be responsible for looking after a key strategic vendor in a globally unique relationship, contributing to improvements in their operational metrics and creating detailed reports on performance. You’ll lead presentations and planning sessions and act as the main point of contact for them.

You will also provide support to drive category growth through detailed analysis of business inefficiencies and identifying solutions; proposing changes to operational processes; driving a high standard in customer satisfaction; ensuring high-quality product detail pages; and making recommendations for effective marketing campaigns.

To achieve success in this role, you will have strong analytical, relationship management and organisational skills. You'll be an analytics expert, identifying problem areas and then creating plans to find resolutions, with the ability to pick up new skills quickly. You'll have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships.

You will have to be very comfortable delivering results in an ambiguous environment, being exceptionally detail orientated while looking around corners and thinking bigger about how we create a compelling customer offer.

You will also use a wide range of skills working across major functional areas:
- Vendor management: help growing selection of products to sell on Amazon, onboarding new vendors, identifying and resolving pricing issues
- In-stock management: tracking purchase orders, investigating late deliveries, resolving order rejections, working with vendors on PO automation
- Online marketing: improving product page data, developing marketing and merchandising plans, improving customer experience onsite, helping generating traffic and sale.

Basic Qualifications

You are degree qualified , with experience in oral and written communication, multi-tasking, and quantitative analysis. Strong data skills are essential.

This position also requires prior experience with presentation, organization, and/or account management. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, analytical and can operate with a high degree of autonomy.

Preferred Qualifications

3-5 years of experience doing one of several roles: quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing or e-commerce. The ability to quickly learn a varied set of software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel, Access, and Amazon internal systems) is necessary, and prior experience is a plus. Prior experience working with Apparel or Footwear brands is also a plus.
