Job Description

The EU Risk Analyst provides data mining and analytical support to EU Loss Prevention teams to support investigations, conducts detailed analysis of databases and records data analytics to identify internal theft. By doing so, the EU Risk Analyst supports a variety of functions from Finance to the EU Loss Prevention Teams in the Fulfillment Centers and Supply Chain in conducting their Loss Investigations.


Security and Loss Management
- Conduct preliminary analysis and subsequent investigation into losses
- Creation of metrics and reports
- Use data mining tools for loss analysis and investigations
- Report analytics results
- Stakeholder management
- Act as Point of Contact for EU field Loss Prevention teams

Finance Investigation management
- Investigate and report findings of discrepancies regarding Vendor deliveries
- Act as POC for Finance on behalf of EU Risk Team
- Liaise with field Loss Prevention teams to support Vendor shortage investigations

Supply chain Investigation management
- Support Supply Chain Loss Prevention by providing appropriate reports to assist investigations
- Act as POC for Supply Chain Loss Prevention on behalf of EU Risk Team

- Manage trouble ticket requests in an efficient manner within agreed SLA
- Contribute to pan-EU projects on an ad-hoc basis (from small to large cross-functional projects)

Basic Qualifications

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Deliver results within deadlines
- Confidence to work under minimal supervision
- Strong oral and written English skills
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals
- Flexibility for occasional travel (within Europe)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of discretion and professionalism to deal with sensitive data

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of an EU language other than English
- Ability to share best practices and have an open mind for innovation
- Familiarity with databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, Access and Excel
- Strong problem solving and innovation techniques
- Experience with warehouse or distribution center services
- Previous experience in fraud, risk or security
- Knowledge of Amazon used tools
