The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Recruiting team is seeking a talented, customer-focused Sr. Recruiter to identify, assess and hire top sales and business development talent for AWS. The Recruiter will partner closely with the sourcers and their hiring managers to create customized hiring strategies for addressable talent pools and market conditions, and hire top notch candidates for sales roles.

The right candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close multiple requisitions against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at creating positive candidate experience, client relationship management, prioritization, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

Basic Qualifications

  • Solid track record/experience in corporate progressive recruiting experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Public Sector space
  • Experience designing hiring strategies and executing hiring plan, including advising the hiring manager on hiring strategy.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple hiring requests, projects and client relationships.
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new ways of hiring, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, and diversity hiring.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
  • CTS/ATS experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • MS Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytic skills with ability to create and measure leading indicators of key recruiting metrics.
