Who are we looking for?
Amazon Costa Rica looks for students who are effective leaders with the ability to motivate, mentor, and engage. With an opportunity to intern with Amazon Operations, you will have the unrivaled experience of digging into an established business that is growing exponentially. We need student leaders who will have ideas on how to improve our processes and who aren’t afraid to innovate. We need leaders who will embrace all the responsibility we give them and excel!
Additionally, we are seeking rising juniors currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

What types of internships are available?
Internships at Amazon are your opportunity to get meaningful real-world experience in your field of study, whether that be Human Resources, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Data Analysis, Process Improvement and more! .

What’s in it for me?
As a summer intern for 12 – 24 weeks, you will lead a team of associates and work on special projects that are crucial and meaningful to the business. You won’t be taking coffee orders or cleaning out the old file closet during your internship at Amazon. Expect to be actively engaging with employees, earning hands-on familiarity with building relationships, meeting deadlines, supporting development and keeping the wheels in motion as we distribute packages to Amazon customers nationwide - as a team.

Where will I be interning?
All of our internship opportunities are available at Amazon Customer Service centers in Costa Rica. If you choose to join us, you will be placed in either of the two locations available. During our recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to rank your preferred work locations after you accept our offer.

Relocation and housing assistance is available, and our team works to accommodate our intern groups with housing that is comfortable and connected to our Amazon intern community whenever possible. We want to help you have a great learning experience during your internship.

What is the work environment like?
Our Amazon Customer Service Operations Centers, are hubs for the day-to-day business providing first class solutions to our customers. As a 24/7 operation, Amazon runs many work shifts (days, nights, weekends, etc.).

When can I get started?
We are seeking new team members year-round, which means there are multiple opportunities to start your employment! That being said, our openings are dependent on the needs of the business which will guide when exactly we can place our new-hires.

MBA

Amazon’s MBA program exists to build a leadership pipeline for the organization. MBAs and Master’s level students at Amazon are given ownership of large areas of opportunity, and the autonomy to think strategically and make decisions that have a significant impact on our customers and our business. We have several full-time opportunities available for MBA candidates. Internships within each role last 11 to 12 weeks and provide students the opportunity to complete function-specific projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • For Internships you must be enrolled in a college program (at least 70% completed credits)
  • 90% English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Third language
  • Prophecy in SPSS, R, Stata, MiniTab or any other statistical software program.
