Job Description

Training and Certification is seeking a smart, customer-obsessed, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to drive and manage training and certification digital marketing campaigns across the Asia Pacific/Japan (APJ) region, through a proactive, data-driven approach. In this role, you will translate marketing objectives into digital tactics, aimed at increasing awareness, adoption, and leads for training and certification. You will take a test and learn approach to your daily work, regularly experiment with new channels and campaign approaches, and optimize ongoing programs through content, reporting, and deep analysis. The ideal candidate has a track record of success in campaign management and lead generation, and is very metrics-oriented, capable of interpreting complex reports, and translating the results into future campaign actions. The right candidate has strong communication and project management skills and is comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of digital marketing programs; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

· Manage and implement the Training and Certification email communication strategy
· Manage and execute multi-faceted digital marketing programs and campaign channels, including email, nurture, retargeting, search, and social, and ensuring proper tracking and reporting for effectiveness
· Design, execute, and test highly effective email campaigns to improve demand generation and nurture communications
· Support email execution, including managing email requests, builds, and scheduling
· Work with appropriate teams to manage the database and segmentation strategy for all Training and Certification marketing programs
· Develop project plans, including goals, messaging, call to action, and distribution channels for lead generation
· Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for digital marketing channels
· Forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness metrics and overall ROI to internal stakeholders
· Monitor, analyze and tune marketing activities to maximize conversion and key metrics
· Convert design mockups to HTML, including creating digital and print assets for use in banners, landing pages, videos, email templates & powerpoint presentations

Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years’ professional experience in marketing and/or database marketing, preferably in high-technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, and/or relevant field of study
  • Proven experience working with industry tools and analytics packages including email, Social posting and listening, web analytics, CRM, business intelligence and marketing automation platforms
  • Proven experience building test and learn plans that continuously improve program engagement and effectiveness, with a heavy focus on lead generation initiatives
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail, as well as an ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization and gain support for initiatives
  • Accomplished range of skills from strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously to activate channels, and work collaboratively with business partners to plan, track, and manage very detailed work

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience using Salesforce, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Eloqua), Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, Tag Management, Link Tracking tools, blogging platforms, Search/Google Adwords and content syndication platforms (Outbrain, Taboola)
· Working knowledge of XHTML, HTML, CSS and highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
· A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results.
· Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment; IT/technology marketing experience preferred
· Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
