Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining the IT industry? Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to join our Solution Provider Program, focusing on developing and managing relationships with regional and domestic System Integrators across the ASEAN region. Specifically this role will focus on managing our Indonesia partner eco-system and driving revenue through the hundreds of innovative services companies who are using AWS as their cloud delivery platform.

As the Partner Success Manager, Indonesia within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services (including Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon CloudFront, Amazon RDS) within various system integrators and solution providers. Your broad responsibilities will include helping to define and execute against the partner program for Indonesia , establishing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these organizations in order to build long-term business and marketing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to drive an engagement and interact at the CXO/VP level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

The Partner Success Manager will be part of the ASEAN team to drive the overall AWS partner strategy in Indonesia market. The successful profile would have the following job responsibilities:
  • Develop and nurture a set of commited partners from recruitment, on-boarding, enablement, education and measurement of success
  • Develop long term strategic partnerships in support of the market strategy
  • Drive and execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders
  • Work with prospects and partners to develop the business value proposition for using our services and solutons; educate and enable them for using AWS solutions
  • Establish the business development pipeline by active engagement with prospects and key customers
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team on a regular basis
  • Manage complex contract negotiations

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive sales and/or business development experience. Other requirements include:
  • Degree in relevant disciplines with at least twelve years of working knowledge of software technology companies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia as the candidate will be focusing in Indonesia market
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work in a cross-matrix international environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA with twelve years of relevant working experience would be preferred
  • Experience working within the Enterprise software industry is highly desirable, especially in virtualization, cloud or enterprise software space
  • Background in sales and business development and have moved into a channel and alliances development/management focus is ideal
  • Ability to develop channel programs to deliver business objectives
